Founder Director
Damian Carnell
Damian is a Chartered Accountant and has 35 years’ experience of delivering professional executive compensation advice.
Damian’s clients’ profiles embrace many sectors, including financial services, banking, asset management, broking, private equity and insurance.
His advice context is also extensive, ranging from many UK listed company Remco appointments, sub-co Remco advice such as European subsidiaries of global banking institutions, and international financial services firms, to special situations such as IPO, M&A, JVs, CVUs and venture startups.
His experience includes pay policy, pay benchmarking, short- and long-term incentive design, benefits, share ownership guidelines, NED fees, institutional investor views on pay governance, regulatory compliance and broad-based share plans.
He was special adviser to the IASB on IFRS2, Share Based Payment, and sits on the ESOP Centre Steering Committee. In 2024 he presented to the European Conference Board on executive compensation, and MENSA International at Cambridge University on UNSDG 10: Reducing Inequality.
Damian holds a degree in Commerce from Birmingham University and an MBA from Cass Business School.
